Germany will buy 56 Krauss-Maffei Wegmann "All-Protected Carrier Vehicles" for use with peacekeeping units. These are basically four-wheeled armored trucks designed to survive small arms fire and anti-personnel landmine explosions. It is based on the 4x4 Mercedes UNIMOG chassis.
