Slovenia's 74th Armored Battalion has received 30 T-55 tanks which were refitted in local factories to the new S1 standard. This includes a 105mm L7 rifled gun, a new suspension, and explosive reactive armor. Upgrading the 30 tanks cost $47 million.--Stephen V Cole
