ATLANTIC, Ocean (Oct. 12, 2011) An amphibious assault vehicle assigned to the 2nd Marine Division from Camp Lejeune, N.C, drives off the stern gate of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Ponce (LPD 15) during amphibious training operations off the North Carolina coast. Ponce is on the first leg of its final round of training operations and ports of call prior to being decommissioned in 2012.
