In Zabul, where American and Afghan troops are pursuing several hundred Taliban fighters, local villagers complained that the Taliban, who had set up their camps months, forced them to provide food, and threatened villagers with death if they reported the Taliban presence. It's believed that local villagers provided some of the information that led to the discovery of exactly where the Taliban camps were.
