August 2, 2006: The official war on the Chad-Sudan border is over, as military patrols from both countries cooperate to find and chase down any rebels found along the border. However, the various rebel groups are not being attacked, but the rebels are not very active now, either, and are holding back, staying out of the way, and trying to get an idea of what they can get away with under the new rules.
July 26, 2006: Chad and Sudan signed a peace deal, which included cooperation shutting down all rebel groups (from both nations) operating along the border. Thus ended the three month war.
