In Kashmir, 19 rebels died in several incidents. 

About 800 meters from the Karachi, Pakistan, airport, four Chinese made rockets were found set up and aimed at the airport and equipped with a timing device for automatic launch. Police came and took the set up apart.  Over the weekend, a similar rockets was fired at the home of a Shiite Moslem. Sunni and Shia Moslem groups in Karachi have long fought each other over religious differences.
