Rebel violence in Kashmir left six dead.

In northern Pakistan, troops continue to search for, and find, weapons (including two portable anti-aircraft missiles). Islamic radicals captured in the cities recently have confessed to buying their weapons in the tribal areas and the police have been following up on that information with raids.

In northeast India, tribal violence left three dead. The tribal rebels have been accused of turning to bandits in some places. The violence has left hundreds dead so far this year, and it's increasingly difficult to tell the criminal and political violence apart.
