Police on Sulawesi arrested three men in possession of bomb making material, and a book on how to make a bomb. The men lived near a foreign owned nickel mine. 

Fighting in Aceh continues, leaving five dead.

As the government captures more terrorist suspects, there is more alarm at the extent of the terrorist network. Malaysia has had the same experience, and Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines are cooperating and sharing information about terrorism. The US has been contributing information and technical assistance as well.
